The Old Labor Leftist is gone because the old working class only exists in certain pockets in the United States. These pockets tend to fall in the, "rust-belt," largely or what used to be hubs of manufacturing. That's slowly been shipped out overseas but there's still a complacent Warehouse Laborers that seems to be quite common. Logistics has increased massively due to the success of things like Amazon.

Baristas, Retail Workers, Servers, and cooks aren't truly, "working class." They are serfs for the Working class that can afford it, largely due to either Unionization or Certification (often both), or the middle-class White collar workers who is even more removed from the transformation of nature into value. It may sound like Marxist gibberish for retarded, "right wingers," but Marx's definitions are very rigid and incredibly useful in analyzing the economy from a class based angle.

Thus the Riots in Britian reveal something unique about the West's class character: The white working class is allying with the bourgeoisie over mass finance and the managerial elite who control it. It is a nationalist vs globalist outlook on the world. Obviously, the labor theory of value wasn't completely true. Cooking could be, in a way, considered an art rather than an act of labor. The value comes from, "taste," while the actual value is found in the ingredients. How flavorful it is, or the ambience provided, determines the cost. Notice, this is distinctly different from, "put nut on bolt," or, "move box to truck." They are serving another, like a maid, rather than creating real material wealth.

Since we spend so much time working in the modern era, our spirit becomes somewhat defined by our working station. The serf learns to preform, while the worker learns to build, while the White-collar Techy learns to organize. It has becomes much more complicated than, "factory owner," and, "worker," and thus Marxism lost it's salience amongst the people. The only ones who are trying to revive an actual Marxist project seem to be Haz-al Din and Jackson Hinkle, which, ironically, begins to resemble a multi-racial fascism. Not that surprising if you understand socialist thought and history...

At some point I gave up pointing out class when everyone wants to talk about race and sex. I’m not sure if it just made me weird or also made me seem like a manipulative bigot.

I think a part of the issue is that most of the shit stirrers are from sufficiently wealthy families that they wouldn’t get victimization points for class. It’s in their twisted interest go downplay class and upplay sex (usually) or other factors that happen to apply to them.
